Razavi Cinema Calls for Action; Efforts to Promote Razavi Cinema
The director of Imam Reza (A.S) International Festival for Culture and Arts stated, "The cinema works produced for Imam Reza's festival are acceptable quantitatively and qualitatively. And a step can be taken toward promoting such works by listening to the opinions of cinema experts and holding workshops."

According to Razavi News Agency, in the meeting of the review committee on the cinema programs associated with international festival of Imam Reza (A.S), the festival’s managing director, Hujjat al-Islam Sayed Hussein Sayedi, the cultural deputy of the Foundation and Masood Zareian, one of the critics and documentary filmmakers were present. The director of the international cultural artistic festival of Imam Reza (A.S) emphasized on the important role that cinema plays, saying, "Cinema has a pivotal role in directing public thoughts and can motivate different groups of the society intellectually and culturally."

Emphasizing on the production of distinguished cinematic works, The festival’s managing director stated, "We hope to make the produced works of the festival available for the interested people, so that they could have easy access to them."

The managing director of the International Foundation of Imam Reza (A.S) emphasized that attention should to paid to the moral concepts of the works produced, saying, "There are a lot of moral points in Razavi biography that are of use for our current society and Razavi filmmakers should take them into account."

The director of the international cultural artistic festival of Imam Reza (A.S) referred to the point that the ability and capacity of artists from all cities and provinces should be exploited. "Attracting the audience is an important point and the pivot of all our activities should be attracting the audience." He emphasized on the issue of advertising cinema programs and said, "Recall posters of such programs should be in access for all the artists and interested people" he added.  

The festival’s managing director emphasized that the people who were martyred for unity and defending holy shrines should be taken into account in Razavi cinema productions. "We owe to the martyrs of unity and the defenders of holy shrines, so the artists should refer to them in their works" he said.

 Masood Zareian, a documentary filmmaker, said in the meeting that "the public and the audience are very important. A festival is not successful unless it has the potential to attract a maximum number of people." He emphasized that Razavi filmmakers should pay attention to the religious lifestyle in their films and added, "Razavi biography is rich with points that can be presented in Razavi cinema works."
