According to News and Information department of the Imam Reza (A.S) International Foundation for Culture& Arts, the winners of the 9th International Festival of Razavi Documentary and Short Films were announced in the closing ceremony and Davood Mirbagheri, the director of 'Imam Ali' and 'Mokhtarnameh' TV series was honored as the special guest.
"The creation of art by drawing on the deep cultural and spiritual concepts is of unmatched high value" said Mohamad Reza Dehbidi Pour, the head of Yazd’s department of Culture and Islamic Guidance and the secretary of the International Festival of Razavi Documentary and Short Films, welcoming the visiting artists and filmmakers who had attended the ceremony which was held at the Red Crescent Society conference hall in Yazd.
He also pointed that "a work the essence of which becomes art takes the color of immortality, and, in this regard, no art has the validity compared to that of religious art", Dehbidi Pour said. "The endeavor to attract the audience through artistic presentation of capabilities and values existing in the teachings of Islam and the lifestyle of the Imams (P.B.U.T) while enjoying the cine attractions and capabilities which are very influential in conveying concepts and their immortality, is an opportunity that can meet the needs of today's concerns, challenges and the requirements of future movies", he added.
"In the meantime, here and now, since the cinema adorns itself with the beautiful name of Imam Reza (P.B.U.H), it turns into the definite light and joins the love circle, it smells nothing other than the nice smell of knowledge breeze and steps nowhere but in the God’s path" he continued.
"The 9th International Festival of Razavi Documentary and Short Films is a good opportunity, under the special graces of Imam Reza (P.B.U.H), to better discover of the truth of wilayah and Imamate and better connect the scattered capacities existing in the country, and it enjoys the potential of the film industry and this art for playing a role in enriching the culture and creating a sense of prospect" stated Yazd’s head of the Department of Culture and Islamic Guidance.
At the end, he congratulated the Ten Days of Generosity, starting from the birth anniversary of her ladyship, the benevolent of the Ahl al-Bayt, Fatimah Masoomeh (P.B.U.H) and ending in the blissful birth anniversary of Samen Al-Hojaj, Ali Ibn Musa Al-Reza (P.B.U.H); further, he sincerely appreciated the attendance and accompaniment of all the artists of this field in the 9th International Festival of Razavi Documentary and Short Films, and the worthwhile and genuine efforts of all those involved in the festival.
In the following part of this ceremony, after the statement of the documentary jury was read by its representative, Azadeh Bizar Giti, documentaries "All Which I have", created by Mohammad Ali Yazdan Parast, and "Request", produced by Manizheh Sheykh were honored.
"Razavi Film Festival should try to promote its spiritual growth in the coming years" said the Political, Security, and Social Deputy to the Yazd Governor General, on behalf of Yazd officials, after awarding the prizes to the winners of the documentary section, while thanking the efforts of those involved in the festival. Then, the statement of the jury of the special section of the festival was read by Mohamad Reza Forootan. Next, the representative of the people of Yazd and Ashkzar in Iranian Parliament gave his speech.
In the following part of this ceremony, the representative of the Association of Film Critics and Writers of Iranian Cinema, also, read the statement of the jury of this section, and after the appreciation of Bahman and Bahram Haj Abul Lu for the fiction movie of "Unclean [Najis]" and Ali Mardomi for the fiction movie of "The Wind Will Say Something" in the special section of the jury, the manager of Iran’s National Channel One TV, gave his speech. The prize of the special section was awarded to the documentary movie "Three Grabs of Haak" by Yasser Kheir and fiction movie of "Emergency Removal" by Peyman Naimi and Fahimeh Agha Hasani.
In the section of Razavi Lifestyle, the fiction movie of "Unclean" by Bahman and Bahram Haj Abul Lu, "Emergency Removal" by Peyman Naimi and Fahimeh Agha Hasani, "The Wind Will Say Something" by Ali Mardomi, the documentary of "Taftan" by Hooshang Mirzaei, and the documentary of "Brothers of the Earth" by Mohammad Sangoori were appreciated. "Guest of the Fish" made by Ghodrat Bagheri in the charity and benevolence section, and fiction movie of "Soldiers like Storks" by Saeid Nejati in the featured films of the environment section, were also appreciated.
Afterwards, the statement of the jury of the fiction section was read, and Mahdi Chupani for "Do not Bury Your Dreams in the Soil", Najme Zare for "A House For Us", Alireza Ghaffariyan for "Payesh [Purification]", and Jamil Amel Sadeghi for "Through this Green Path" were appreciated. At the end, the special guest of the festival, Davood Mirbagheri, was praised and honored by the secretary of the Festival.
It should be noted that the 9th International Festival of Razavi Documentary and Short Films which was held in Yazd, is one of the series of programs of the twelfth Imam Reza (P.B.U.H) International Festival.
