The Charter of Cultural and Artistic Festival of Imam Reza (AS)

This charter, based on:

Relying and having faith to God as the creator of the universe.
To use Qur`an, Sunnah of the prophet (P.B.U.H.) and Ahl Ul Bait.
Being committed to: the thoughts of Imam Khomeini and Ayat Allah. Khamneyi/the perspective of Iran in 20 years.
To clarify, root and expand Razavi culture.
To work on Mahdaviiat belief and Entezaar culture(being await for our 12th Imam), considering the time to protect the society from foreigners’ cultural offence.

has been collected as following:

1. Reliance to god and resorting to Masoomin (P.BU.TH) in head of the all activities.
2. to give thanks to munificent god for blessing us with eighth Imam’s presence in Islamic Iran.
3. To honour Thaghalayn Hadith that has arrived to us from the blessed prophet (P.B.U.H) as a precious honesty.
4. To use the Selselat al Zahab Hadith as the guidance light in the festival.
5. A true effort to revive the word of Masoomin (P.B.U.H) and to receive the blessing of God (S.W).
6. The insistence to the processes being glorious in all the stages of the festival according to the dignity and the esteem of the festival.
7. An emphasis to activities being wise in order to strengthen the religious structures and to promote the level of people’s knowledge.
8. An attention to the holy doorway of Imam Reza (P.B.U.H) as the spiritual centre of Iran and the hearth of social unity.
9. The effort of scholars and the artists in the Cultural and Artistic Festival of Imam Reza (P.B.U.H)to expand the moral virtues by offering glorious and quality impressions to achieve god’s pleasure.
10. An emphasis in presenting and co¬-operating the people in all of the programmes and activities in this festival throughout the country.
11. To read special Salavat (praying) in the beginning of every sitting to give spiritual ablution and holiness to the sittings throughout the country
12. To plan the festival’s all programs in all provinces in the General Culture Parliamentary of the Province
13. To use the ideas of Hawzah(an Islamic parliament) and university scholars in planning the festivals programmes
14. An emphasis to organize the consulting parliamentary formed by scholars (from Hawzah/university/others) and outstanding artists to consult with the secretaries of the festival

This charter was confirmed by Culture and Islamic Guidance minister On 28/1/28 in paragraph 14, and is necessary to be executed from the announced date.
